Studies show that almost half of social media users check on someone they used to be in a relationship with and the May issue of Pink looks into the dangers of so-called nostalgia snooping.

With social media occupying such a major part of people’s lives, the article focuses on whether it is a good idea to look up an ex online or whether it would be safer to steer clear from befriending them on Facebook.

The article in Pink, out with The Sunday Times of Malta tomorrow, also offers information about an app that can help delete love if anyone ends up in Facebook freefall.

Apps also make it to Pink’s beauty section, listing those that promise a ‘new you’ in terms of weight loss, fitness and looks. But are they just gimmicks or do they really work?

Tomorrow’s issue of the women’s magazine has its usual healthy dose of fashion, with two front covers for readers to get their hands on and a shoot that was photographed at Progress Press, showcasing cutting-edge hair.

Alan Gelati, creator of the covers of several international glossies, who has taken the official photograph of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Malta, is also featured in the magazine, which includes stories on health and fitness, food, culture and even cars, horoscopes, a touch of humour, travel and books. Pink is a monthly magazine, produced and published by Allied Newspapers Ltd and printed by Progress Press.
