Gambling can be very addictive. In fact, any habit can become addictive. To the brain, good and bad habits are equal.

The secret to replace a bad habit with a good habit and how to go about it is in the book by Charles Duhigg entitled The Power Of Habit: Why We Do What We Do And How To Change.

Well, it would not hurt to admit the bad habit and then try to replace it with another “rewarding” good habit.
