McDonald’s is once again offering children aged six to 10 worldwide the opportunity to escort an international footballer on the pitch during FIFA World Cup 2014.

To participate, one needs to submit an application online at www.mcdonalds.com.mt on behalf of the child, followed by participation in a football-related quiz.

The first 115 participants to get all the questions right in the shortest time possible will make it to the finals.

On April 23, the finalists will be asked to participate in a fun-filled day that will include various football activities as well as meeting footballers from the national team.

The lucky player escort will be announced following a ballot on the day.

The other children will stand the chance of being a player escort at the UEFA Championship finals in Malta for under-17 teams.

Starting this year, McDonald’s will also reward adults by enabling them to be part of the dream too.

The winner, accompanied by an adult or guardian, will be flown to Brazil between July 7 and 10 for an inclusive three-night trip of a lifetime, to watch the World Cup semi-finals.
