A man in a Batman costume holds up an infant dressed as Robin at New York’s Comic-Con convention. The event draws thousands of costumed fans, panels of pop culture luminaries and features a sprawling floor of vendors in a space equivalent to more than three football fields at the Jacob Javitz Convention Centre on Manhattan’s West side and has grown into one of the largest cons drawing an expected 120,000 fans.
