Bank of Valletta CEO Charles Borg recently renewed its support to Caritas (Malta) when it presented a donation to the organisation’s director Mgr Victor Grech, and administrative secretary Anġlu Fenech.
In recognition of the bank’s support, Caritas (Malta) provides the bank’s 1,500 staff members and their families a free employee assistance programme.
“The bank’s role within the Maltese community goes beyond providing financial services and this underlines its commitment towards the improvement of society,” Mr Borg said.
While thanking the bank, Mgr Grech said, “Caritas continues to play an important role in building a strong network of social services. We will continue to concentrate our efforts to change the way Maltese society tackles drugs, alcoholism, poverty and social injustice.”
