Banif Bank’s Hello Kitty card, the co-branded Visa Classic credit card, has been shortlisted as one of the most innovative in Europe and is vying for a prestigious international award.
The product is among the nominees in the international ‘Loyalty and Benefits’ for the Publi-News 2011 Trophèes for Innovative Cards. Winners will be named at gala event in Paris next month.
Now in its sixth edition, the event organised by French company Publi-News will present honours in various categories for innovative card or outstanding products aimed at individual or corporate customers.
Publi-News was founded in June 1984 and publishes independent information on banking, insurance, new technology and security. The other four categories in the Publi-News 2011 Trophèes are services, prepaid, design and technology/alternative payments.
The Banif Hello Kitty Classic credit card was launched locally in April and was designed to be a less conservative card design and add a touch of glamour to holders.
