Over the past week, Malta received a lot of adverse publicity on the international media as a direct consequence of the cruel assassination of Daphne Caruana Galizia. That publicity will affect us in a very negative way.

As sure as night follows day, slowly but surely, the bubble that, according to the Malta Developers’ Association does not exist, will start to deflate.

Serious organisations that were thinking of investing or relocating to Malta following Brexit will now reconsider their options and, in the immortal words of Robert Burns, “the best laid plans of mice and men oft go awry”.
