Valerie Borg is full of hopes that the majority of the Maltese will forget the Panama scandal.
Although she is in defence mode, she paints the PN with the same brush that has really and truly painted matt black the Labour government. She ought to realise there is too much muck.

The Maltese have forgotten the Tal-lira clock issue but I do not think they will forget the Panama scandal easily because no truthful explanations have been forthcoming from the government’s side. All we got are attacks on individuals.

I admire Borg for her tenacity in defending the Labour Party, which she loves so much, but, at the same time, her love has not been reciprocated.

On the contrary, she has been badly let down.

Perhaps she can still recall Joseph Muscat’s promises before the election. We all thought that, with a handsome majority in Parliament, Muscat could move Malta forward. Unfortunately, this was not to be.

The best thing now is for Konrad Mizzi and Keith Schembri to get away from under Muscat’s wing and resign, thus cleaning up some of the muck in the stable and perhaps, hopefully, the government would be able to carry on with its ‘good governance’.
