Bank of Valletta employee Joyce Tabone is the bank’s Employee of the Year for 2010/2011.

Ms Tabone was chosen from 58 nominations by a panel of judges who recognised various qualities, such as professionalism, dedication, excellent service and outstanding contribution.

Nominations were received from branch managers and unit heads and the winner was selected by a panel of judges made up of 50 employees representing all units and grades. “The title recognises the employee who best shows commitment and dedication to the bank throughout the year,” said BoV CEO Tonio Depasquale while presenting the award to Ms Tabone.

“We truly value our staff and are constantly looking for new ways to reward and recognise members on the basis of performance.

“Ms Tabone incorporates our core values of commitment, integ­rity, initiative and responsibility, while meeting the needs of our customers with quality service,” said Mr Depasquale.
