BNF Bank’s Casual Fridays initiatives has continued to reap benefits for a growing number of beneficiaries in Malta and Gozo, with last year’s initiative raising over €5,000.

On the last Friday of every month, BNF Bank employees donate a small amount to a different cause. At the beginning of each year, all personnel are asked to nominate a beneficiary to offer these monthly donations to. A few of the chosen organisations benefitting from the monthly contributions were the Foodbank, Right2Smile, Europa Donna, Mater Dei Hospital children’s wards and the Ursuline Sisters, besides many others.

 “Casual Fridays is not only an opportunity for staff to come into work in their casual wear but also to get engaged and play an active role in society with our small but significant donations,” said Alison Grech, coordinator of the bank’s Human Resources Unit.

“Each year the bank tries to find new ways to be more involved in society’s well-being not by just donating a monetary contribution but, more importantly, by donating time.”
