Business Leaders (Malta) has distributed the results of an online employee study conducted last month to 26 participating organisations which will reveal details of their staff’s perception.

Participants are highly committed to retain top talent

The 3,887 invitations dispatched to employees of 26 organisations taking part in the first Business Leaders Employer Award yielded an overall response rate of 69 per cent. The organisations range in size from a staff complement of 15 to more than 900.

The results of the scientific study will determine which company will win any of 10 awards at the annual Business Leaders Malta event in February.

The study focused on seven ‘domains leadership effectiveness, communication and team cohesiveness, training and development, reward and recognition, corporate culture, performance orientation and employee well-being. Employees were asked to rate their employer through 10 questions for each domain, over a six-point psychometric Likert scale. All respondents were officially introduced to the research study through a joint communication from Business Leaders (Malta).

The results of the study will give participating organisations a unique insight into their employees’ perceptions on several issues and how these perceptions compare to the average of all the participating organisations.

“Companies participating in this study are highly committed to attracting and retaining top talent,” BLM business development and operations manager Debbie Pavia explained.
