Dorianne Gravina has graduated with an MA in Education in Guidance Studies with a distinction from Derby University, UK. Her thesis focused on ‘The perceptions of young women towards non-traditional occupations in Malta’.
Ms Gravina also won an award for the highest overall academic achievement across all MA Education students graduating in 2010/11. She completed her MA through online distance learning.
She carried out the final yearof the MA with the assistanceof a scholarship awardedunder the Career Guidance Capacity Building Scholarship Scheme.
The scholarship was part-financed by the EU, Operational Programme II – Cohesions Policy 2007-2013 ‘Empowering people for more jobs and better qualify life’- ESF 1.24.
Ms Gravina currently works as a career adviser at St Ignatius College and is responsible for organising the college’s career guidance programme.
