Atlas Insurance and Atlas JMFS Investment Services Ltd’s new branch in St Paul’s Bay was officially inaugurated by mayor Graziella Galea, in the presence of parish priest Fr Joseph Cilia, Atlas Insurance CEO Michael Gatt and Atlas JMFS Investment Services joint managing director Jesmond Mizzi.
The office, located on the St Paul’s Bay main road, will be handling a full range of personal insurance services, such as motor, boat, home and travel together with investment advice on local and international bonds and shares and a wide range of collective investment schemes.
At the opening ceremony, Ms Galea stressed the recent impressive growth of St Paul’s Bay and its outlying areas, which swells to 60,000 during summer. The community is now the second largest in Malta after Birkirkara.
The locality is no longer just a summer residence but has become a hub of activity for the north of Malta, said Mr Gatt.
The new branch reflects Atlas’ commitment to adapt to the needs of the community in which it operates, and is an important step for the group to further strengthen its market penetration capabilities.
After introducing Keith Tanti and Mark Tanti, who will be servicing clients for Atlas Insurance and Joseph Fenech, from Atlas JMFS investment Services, Mr Gatt invited Fr Cilia to bless the new premises.
The new office will be opening Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 3.30 to 6.15 p.m. and on Saturday between 8 a.m. and 12.30 p.m.
