Each time I read John Guillaumier’s many letters I cannot but conclude that he is a firm believer in a God who refuses to get out of his life. In his frustration, he huffs and puffs dishing out arguments we have heard since time immemorial to prove that there is no God.
... gods... created by man... have been swept away...- Vince Cachia, Balzan
He quotes time and time again the writings of great philosophers that only serve to convince those that are already convinced. At times, he reminds me of that little boy in the corner stamping his feet, insisting on being seen, heard and obeyed but in reality ignored by those that matter.
So many gods have been created by man and all have been swept away into history. This God of ours persists. The fact is so many philosophers and wise men have come and gone. Others will arise flaunting their new theories in an effort to annihilate God. They too will pass away.
All these wise men, all the declared atheists, are blind to a great truth: they keep declaring a lost war on a God that is.
