While Europe burns with one financial crisis after the other, with some countries tottering on the brink of financial collapse, our politicians fiddle away hours upon hours bickering, exchanging insults and wasting Parliament time in sessions criticising each other.

As if this were not enough, to our disgust, from the wings, every

now and then, we keep hearing voices calling for the introduction of IVF legislation and same-sex marriage, lest these MPs be forgotten in the turmoil.

Ladies and gentlmen, you have been playing politicians for four years now. Isn’t it time you tried to convince us you are serious and responsible politicians worthy of our trust, now that the election is fast approaching?

It is high time we tell some of these honourable members that they are making us sick.
