A group of artists and designers have condemned last week’s threat to send back immigrants to Libya.

The group of 47 artists and designers said they believed that by considering push-back measures, the Government had “contributed to disregarding human dignity and fundamental human rights”.

They insisted that the national interest could only prevail when values of love and hospitality were central to society.
