An art exhibition featuring works by Antida and Rosalie Casha is currently ongoing in Mosta.

Rosalie uses quite a number of mediums to express her emotions, with an explicit precocity for drawing and sketching. Her first exhibition took place in October 2014, followed by a second one at the foyer at Mater Dei Hospital.

For Rosalie, paintings have become conceptual, providing a point of departure, a provocation, an invitation to take this inward journey that leads to unity, interpreting not only the visible but also the invisible to inspire the soul and the mind towards transcendence, to calm, console and renew her artistic soul.

Antida exhibited a passion for art at a young age. She uses various media such as pencil and oil, which is her favourite.

She has always admired classical art and is inspired by it and has taken part in several exhibitions locally.

Variations came to life through Rosalie’s need to express her innermost feelings and Antida’s search for betterment. In her paintings, Rosalie uses a wide variety of colours and experiments more with modern art. While Antida’s works demonstrate her love for oil, she also believes that, through various techniques and different brush strokes, she can obtain a wide range of results.

■ The exhibition runs until Saturday, November 19 at the Razzett tal- Markiż Mallia Tabone, Triq Wied il-Għasel, Mosta. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 6pm to 8pm and Sunday from 10am till noon.
