San Andrea School hosted Archbishop Charles Scicluna to mark the 10th anniversary of the Shekinah (the senior school’s prayer room), which coincided with the school’s 25th anniversary.

Mgr Scicluna was greeted by heads of school Stephen Briffa and Dorothy Lapira, chairman Kevin Spiteri, board member Kevin Sciberras, chaplain Fr Jimmy Bonnici, the chaplaincy team, the Prayer and Action Group and the full complement of teaching and administration staff.

Students from Nursery to Grade 5 and Grades 6 to 12 also had the opportunity to meet him.

During his visit, Mgr Scicluna blessed the Shekinah, as well as the new biology laboratory, home-economics/hospitality laboratory, clinic and senior school and Learning Support Assistant’s staff rooms.
