Middlesea Insurance has appointed Judith Galea as head of business development.

Ms Galea brings with her 21 years of experience, having held various senior management roles leading to that of CEO of Allcare Insurance Agency, mainly as an agent of Middlesea, and subsequently CEO of Allcare Insurance. She has experience in all classes of insurance business and was involved in the handling of the insurance portfolio of some of the major businesses in Malta.

“Ms Galea is renowned for her focus on customer care and, coupled with her experience in the local insurance market, we are strengthening our team of professionals to continue building on the company’s philosophy of always keeping our customers at the forefront by delivering customer service excellence along our distribution channels,” said Fernando Docampo, assistant general manager.

Manager for The Villa

Daniela Said has assumed the role of sales and marketing manager at The Villa in Balluta. She will be in charge of all events.

Before taking up this position,Ms Said worked at Palazzo Parisio and had previously worked in the hospitality industry for nine years.

“The Villa is a special venue and I am proud to be part of the team that will take The Villa to the next level, most especially with events,’’ she said. “In the past few days, The Villa received awards confirming the already excellent product. However, we do not plan to rest on our laurels… We plan to develop new and exciting times at The Villa for all ages.’’
