The shareholders of the National Bank of Malta, who have been anxiously awaiting the judgment regarding the hijacking of their bank in 1973, have, once again, been informed of a postponement. This time the case has been put off to September 29.
For well over 30 years, the case they instituted has been heard by five different judges but a decision has still to be made!
Our Prime Minister professes the highest religious and ethical values, including wooing overseas investors and proclaiming Malta’s investment attractions, but does he find it in his conscience that he has to warn these investors of the dangers of litigation on the island, which once started may never have an end?
