okmalta.com appear to be unstoppable in their fight to wrest the MSV Life National League title from current holders Fina, racking up another full-point victory in week seven against Bowlers on Strike to go 12 points clear.
Fina were left reeling from a 6-2 defeat at the hands of Ramis who now replace them in second place, while Turu’s Knights moved up to fourth place with their 6-2 win over Royal Shock.
The final game of the night also registered a 6-2 scoreline, with J. Grima & Co getting the better of last-placed Blitzkrieg.
The match between MIA and The Clan ended in a four-all draw.
Okmalta.com, with Rankin Camilleri firing on all cylinders, tore into opponents Bowlers on Strike for the bulk of their en-counter, although the opening game saw just seven pins separating the teams, going 705-698 to the league leaders.
Game two was a very different story as okmalta.com doubled their advantage with a much more convincing 819-684 win, and re-tained their vigour for the last of the series, which they won 829-703 to make sure of all eight points.
