GALEA. On Monday, July 3, Dame DOLORES GALEA, Honorary Consul Emeritus, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers Alex Borg Bartolo, and his wife Jean, and Victor Borg Bartolo, and his wife Lina, her sister Marie Therese Busuttil, widow of Louis Busuttil of Foster Clark, her sisters-in-law Imelda and Ina Borg Bartolo, her numerous nephews and nieces, carer Rosalinda Salcedo, close friends both in Malta and Los Angeles, USA, and the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. The funeral cortege will leave Mater Dei Hospital on Thursday, July 6, for Mass præsente cadavere at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, at 9.30am.
MEZZAPELLE. On July 4, at Mater Dei Hospital, SHEILA, née Copperstone, widow of Vito, passed away peacefully, aged 73, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons Daniele and Francesco, her daughter Cristina and her husband Clive, her grandchildren Francesca and Rebekah, her sisters Josette and Pat, her brother Jean, her in-laws, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said on Thursday, July 6 at 9am at Mary Immaculate church, Tal-Ibraġ, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. MONSIGNEUR. On July 2, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH, aged 82, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sister Maria Assunta Bartolo, his nephew Raymond Bartolo and his wife Clementine, their children Jake and Mattea and his niece Marthese Caruana and her husband Godwin, their children Neil, Annalise and her husband Pasquale, other relatives and beloved friends. The funeral Mass will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, July 5, at 9.30am at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. SCIBERRAS. On July 3, at Pax et Bonum Home, Mosta, FILOMENA, aged 86, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sisters Margaret and Agnes and her husband Lawrence Gatt, her sister-in-law Maria, her niece Louiselle and her husband Stephen Govè, her nephews Etienne and his wife Christine, Joseph and his wife Rachel, her great nephews and great nieces, Jean, Gaia, Leah, Maya, Sasha and Mattias, relatives, friends and also the community of the Franciscan Sisters of the Heart of Jesus at the home. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated tomorrow, Wednesday, July 5, at 8.30am at Mosta parish church of the Assumption, followed by interment at Mosta cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife, Mary, née Attard, his only loving daughter Nadya, his precious grandchildren Karen and Adrian, his brother and sisters, in-laws, other relatives and friends.
