FRISK. On June 30, at Mater Dei Hospital, EILEEN JOAN, née Davis, aged 79, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Paul and his partner Pauline, her daughters Marisa and her husband Joe, Annette and her partner Josef, her grandchildren, her great-granddaughter Ema, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Monday, July 3 at 8am for Santa Venera parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
MERTEN. On June 28, GÜNTER, aged 90, passed away in Germany, comforted by his family. A beloved husband to Inge, brother to Waltraud, Gerlinde, Karin and Uschi, father to Ute, Jost and wife Nadia, grandfather to Kai, Jan, Kimberly, Giles and Lara and a proud leader of all the Meritians.
MICALLEF. On June 30, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH, ex-sergeant major, Malta Police Force, aged 88, of Birkirkara, passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family and comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. He leaves to celebrate his life his loving wife Maria, his children Sina Farrugia Micallef, Lino Micallef-Borg and his wife Jo-Anna, Walter and his wife Ulrike, Marthese and Helen, widow of the late Dr Marco Griscti, 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, his brothers and sister and their spouses, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday, July 4 at 8.45am for St Theresa Sanctuary, Valley Road, Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.15am, followed by interment in the Malta Police Force graves at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord grant him eternal rest.

Tuesday, July 4, being the trigesima die since the death of VANNI GANADO, the 6.45pm Mass at Lapsi church, St Julian’s, will be offered for the repose of his soul. The attendance of relatives and friends would be appreciated.
