ASCIAK. On April 5, RALPH, aged 56, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved wife Vanessa, his most precious son Michael and Nicola, his mother Marion, his siblings Gordon and Helen, Rozanne and Darryl, Mark and Helene, his mother-in-law Veronica Von Brockdorff, his brother-in-law David, his brother-in-law Nicholas and Aline, his nephews Gordon Jr., Matthew, Andrew and Rachel, Marty and Nicole, Adam and Sascha and his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, April 8, at 8am for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Balluta, St Julians, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares Foundation, Mater Dei Hospital, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

BORG. On April 2, EUGENIO, of Żabbar residing in Marsascala, aged 56, at Mater Dei Hospital, passed away peacefully com-forted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Anna, his son Dr Albert Borg, his brother and sisters, in-laws and their respective families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital, tomorrow, Thursday, April 6 at 3.15pm for the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Divine Grace, Żabbar, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4pm followed by interment in the family grave at Żabbar Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Inspire will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest. The family appreciates the presence of anyone who can attend the funeral.

SPITERI. On April 4, Dr EDWARD J. SPITERI (Eddie), widower of Josephine, née Sapiano, aged 95, passed away peacefully surrounded by his beloved family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He will be sadly missed by his beloved children, Robert and his partner Lynne, Margaret and her husband Frank Fenech, Jojo and his wife Maria, Paul and his wife Ben, his adored grandchildren, Hannah, James, Chris, Karl, Clara, Matthew, David, Peter and Andy, and their families, his great-grandchildren, Michael, Lisa, Sophia, Sam, Mia and Cara, his sister Melita Saqui, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated today, Wednesday, April 5, at 2pm at Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Balluta, St Julian’s, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

TABONE. On April 4, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY of Vittoriosa (Birgu), ex-teacher and founder member of Verdala International School, aged 74, passed away peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Charles, her son Ivan and his wife Ramona, her brother Vincent Micallef and his wife Mona, her sister Frida, her in-laws Margaret, wife of Edward Hughes and Elizabeth, widow of Godwin Tabone, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, April 6 at 7.45am for St Lawrence parish church, Vittoriosa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at St Lawrence Cemetery, Vittoriosa. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, and Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

RANDON. In loving memory of MARLENE, née Naudi, a dear and beloved sister, today the second anniversary of her demise. Fondly remembered by her brother Anton and his wife, Marlene, and in-laws, nephews and nieces. Forever in our thoughts and daily prayers. Next Sunday’s 10.30am Mass at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, will be offered for the repose of her soul. May the Lord grant her eternal peace and rest.

VELLA. In loving memory of my dearest husband PAUL who went to meet the Risen Lord a year ago today. Deeply missed by his wife Marcelline, Sean and Abigail.
