GAUCI SCIORTINO. On February 26, at Mater Dei Hospital, DORIETTE, née Sciortino, aged 79, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church surrounded by her loved ones. She leaves to mourn her great loss her beloved husband Edwin, her daughters Geraldine and her husband Gianrico Farrugia and Gabriella and her husband Peter Gatt, her grandchildren Luca, Jeremy, Stefan and Antonia, her sister Rita and her husband Anthony Galea, her sister-in-law Marthese Sciortino, her nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Monday, March 6 at 1.15pm for the Divine Mercy Sanctuary, San Pawl tat-Tarġa, Naxxar, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest. The family would like to thank her doctor, the consultants and their respective teams, together with all the dedicated staff at Surgical Ward 4 for their incredible support and attention.
KITCHER. On March 3, at Casa Antonia, Balzan, CARMEN, née Gatt, aged 91, widow of Anthony, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her beloved children Marlene, Vivien, Antoinette, Joe, Rose, George, Paul, Frank, Catherine, Mario and Raymond, their respective spouses, her grandchildren and their spouses, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The funeral leaves Casa Antonia, Balzan on Thursday, March 9, at 8am for St Francis of Assisi (St Anthony) church, Ta’ Paris, Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment in the family grave at Qrendi cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest peace. Special thanks go to the nurses, carers and all the staff at Casa Antonia for their exceptional care and kindness.
ZAMMIT. On March 4, ANDREW (MOSES), aged 83, widower of Winifred, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his daughters Maria and her husband Hermann Borg Xuereb and Gillian and her husband James Vassallo, his beloved grandchildren Eleanor and Marcus and his brothers and sisters France and his wife Lillian, Connie and her husband Paul, Joseph, Sally, Albert and his wife Josephine, Maxie and her husband Richard and their respective families. Special thanks to the staff at Lourdes Ward St Vincent de Paule Hospital. Mass will be said on Tuesday, March 7, at 9am at Luqa parish church. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
