BUHAGIAR. On March 1, PAWLINA of Rabat and residing in Qormi, widow of Rocco, aged 86, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her son George and his wife Jeanette, grandchildren Markita and her husband Matthew, Justine and Andrew, Rocco and Saoirse, great grandchild Jack, their respective families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Friday, March 3, at 2.30pm for St George church in Qormi, where  Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm followed by interment at St George cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to ALS foundation will be greatly appreciated. Lord grant  her eternal rest.

GALEA. On February 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, VINCENT, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church, and surrounded by his family. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Yvonne, née Azzopardi Castaldi, his children Martin and his partner Solange, Alaine and her husband John, Karen, Paul and his wife Vanessa, his grandchildren Max, George, Philip, Dominic, Serena, Charlotte, Hannah and Emily, and his great-grandson John, his sisters Terry Zammit Tabona and Winnie Cassar and his brother Joseph and his wife Rose, his sister-in-law Rosemary and her husband Norman Vincenti, numerous nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said today, Thursday, March 2 at 9am at St Julians parish church, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares, Mater Dei Hospital, would be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest. The family wish to thank the doctors, nurses and all staff at MAU 2, Mater Dei Hospital, who were so attentive and caring in his final days.

SALIBA. On March 1, MICHAEL of Lija, former draughtsman and Lija Local Council member, aged 76. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife MaryAnn, his children John and his wife Jacqueline and Anna and her husband Mark, his grandchildren Gordon, Massimo and Maris, his brothers and sister, Charlie and his wife Mary, Victor, Tony and his wife Mary, Mary, widow of Joe Grima, in-laws, amongst whom Carmen Calleja, other relatives, friends and members of the St Pius X Band Club, Lija. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, March 4 at 8am for Our Saviour parish church, Lija, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by a cortège accompanied by the St Pius X Band to Lija cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
