BONNICI. On November 20, at Mater Dei Hospital, VINCENT, aged 96, of Valletta, former police inspector and bandmaster, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Concetta, his son Paul Psaila and wife Vivienne, grandchildren Marvic, Paulette and husband Jesmond, his great-grandson Jake, his brother Dominic, his sister Furta, in-laws, relatives and friends. FALZON. On November 19, at Mater Dei Hospital, RAYMOND, aged 53, of Luqa, residing in Attard, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Rita, his sister Glorianne and her husband Edward, his nieces Francesca and Martina, his wife’s sisters Beatrix and her partner Richard, and Joanne and her husband Paul and their son Gilbert, uncles and aunts, cousins, many relatives and friends. FARRUGIA. On November 20, at St Dominic's Home for the Elderly, Victoria, JOSEPHINE née Calleja , of Victoria, widow of Anton, aged 99, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her only son Teddie George and his wife Monica, her grandchildren Anthony, husband of Josepha, Veronica, wife of Jean Paul Buttigieg, and Edward, her sister Georgia Galea, her two brothers Rev Fr Francis Xavier and George, her two great-grandchildren Cesca and Bettina, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Gozo General Hospital today, Monday, November 21 at 3.30pm for St George’s church, Victoria, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Cemetery, Xewkija. Special thanks to the nursing sisters and carers at the home who looked after her and nursed her with loving care. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

GATT. On November 20, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOHNNY, of Żebbuġ, aged 80, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Evelyn, his sons Godwin, Edward and Joseph and their respective partners, his grandson Jake, his brother Lino, bis brothers’ wives, his wife’s brother Philip, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Tuesday, November 22, at 2pm for the St Philip’s parish church, Żebbuġ where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment in the family grave at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery in Żebbuġ. VELLA. On November 20, feast of Christ the King and the last day of the Jubilee of Mercy, ANTONIETTE née Buttigieg, aged 88, widow of Godfrey, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss, her daughter Candida and husband Patrick, her son Donald and his wife Rosette, her brothers Joseph, Alfred, George and Mario and her sister Yvonne, grandchildren Colette, Christine, Ruth, Matthew, Christabel, Talitha and Faith, great-grandchildren Elsa and Nina, nephews and nieces together with their families and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital, tomorrow Tuesday, November 22, at 2pm for Marija Bambina parish church Naxxar, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 3pm, followed by interment at Naxxar Cemetery. The family would like to thank all staff at Mater Dei Hospital for their long and dedicated care.
