VELLA. On October 8, at Mater Dei Hospital, VINCENZA, aged 96, of Rabat residing at Mtarfa Old People’s Home, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Carmen, widow of Joseph Azzopardi, and May, wife of Charles Cassar, her daughters-in-law Tessie, widow of Freddie, and Doris, widow of Joe, her grandchildren Natalie, Antonella, Deborah, Paola, Johnny, Dunstan, Marcelene, Audrey, Chyrelle, Kevin and Sean and their families, her great-grandchildren, her sister Antonia, widow of Antonio Lauri, many other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Tuesday, October 11, at 1.30pm for St Paul’s collegiate church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
