ABDILLA. On July 18, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH of Għaxaq, residing at Tarxien, aged 66, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Helen, his children Frederick and Jean-Carl, in-laws, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow Wednesday, July 20 at 3pm for the All Souls chapel, Tarxien, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Għaxaq cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

BEGLEY. On July 15, at The Prince of Wales, Sliema, Surg. Lt. Cdr. MARTIN BEGLEY RAN died peacefully. He will be buried at sea in a private family service today. A gathering of family and friends will be held at The Prince of Wales, Manwel Dimech Street, Sliema tomorrow Wednesday at 11am. Anyone wishing to pay their respects to Martin are welcome to attend.

BORG. On July 15, at Mater Dei Hospital, FRANCESCO, lovingly known as Cesco, at the tender age of 5, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his devoted parents and family. He leaves to mourn his great irreparable loss his parents Frank and Fae née Camilleri, his brother Matteo, his grandparents Frank Borg widower of Nadia, and Josef and Anita Camilleri, his aunt Clarissa and her husband Mark Sultana and their daughter Annie, his uncle Gaston Camilleri and his girlfriend Justine Borg, Josephine Farrugia, his great-grandparents, Maryanne Grima, Ivy Camilleri, and Joe and Ivy Rizzo, his many relatives and friends especially his school friends and teachers at San Anton School. A Messa degli Angeli will be said today, Tuesday July 19, at 3pm at St Helen’s Basilica, Birkirkara, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. People are invited not to wear black. Donations to the Malta Community Chest Fund will be appreciated. Real superheroes live in the hearts of small children fighting big battles.

MIFSUD. On July 18, at Mater Dei Hospital, AGNES, aged 95, of Birkirkara, widow of Angelo, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Rev. Fr Maurice Mifsud (YTC), Peter Paul, Helen, Joe, Manwel, Margaret, Phyllis, Charles, their spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2pm for St Helen Basilica parish church, Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Żebbuġ. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
