BONELLO. On July 16, at Mater Dei Hospital Dr FRANCIS, consultant gynaecologist and obstetrician, lovingly known as Ċikku, at the age of 74, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his family. He leaves to mourn his great irreparable loss his loving wife Mary Rose née Cassar, his children Gabrielle and her husband Jean-Paul Ganado, Richard and his partner Claire Said, his most treasured grandchildren Luca, Rebecca, Hannah, Nicky and Kay, his sisters Tessie and her husband Nick Scicluna, Lina and her husband Nick Sammut, his in-laws Rev. Mgr Anthony Cassar, Archpriest of the Metropolitan Cathedral of Mdina, and John, nephews, nieces, other relatives and his numerous friends and colleagues. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 4pm for St Nicholas parish church, Siġġiewi, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4.30pm, followed by interment at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery in Siġġiewi. Donations to Dar tal-Kleru and Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be greatly appreciated. Please remember him in your prayers. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

BORG. On July 15, at Mater Dei Hospital, FRANCESCO, lovingly known as Cesco, at the tender age of 5, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his devoted parents and family. He leaves to mourn his great irreparable loss his parents Frank and Fae née Camilleri, his brother Matteo, his grandparents Frank Borg widower of Nadia, and Josef and Anita Camilleri, his aunt Clarissa and her husband Mark Sultana and their daughter Annie, his uncle Gaston Camilleri and his girlfriend Justine Borg, Josephine Farrugia, his great-grandparents Maryanne Grima, Ivy Camilleri, and Joe and Ivy Rizzo, his many relatives and friends especially his school friends and teachers at San Anton School. A Messa degli Angeli will be said tomorrow Tuesday July 19, at 3pm at St Helen’s Basilica, Birkirkara, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. People are invited not to wear black. BUSIETTA. On July 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, Chev. ADRIAN, of Sliema, residing in Wardija, aged 81, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his partner Marie Angelique Caruana with her children Marisa Schembri, Paul Caruana and his daughter Clarissa, and Tamara Jane Caruana and her son Liam Paul, his children Rowena Mamo, Fiona Cachia and Hadrian Busietta and their mother Eileen Busietta, his grandchildren Gerome, Hugo, Marcus, Samuel, Zak, Alexandra, Martina, his brother Austin Busietta and Moira, his sister Astrid and her husband Maurice O’Dea, both residing in UK, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends and not least the Knights Hospitallers of St John of Jerusalem. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. FARRUGIA. On July 16, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANTHONY of Tarxien and residing in Birżebbuġa, aged 68, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mary, his children Alexander, Mona and their respective families, and his grandchildren Thomas and Hannah. He will also be sadly missed by his siblings and their families, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8am for Birżebbuġa parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi and Hospice Malta will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

MIFSUD. On July 18, at Mater Dei Hospital, AGNES, aged 95, of Birkirkara, widow of Angelo, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Rev. Fr Maurice Mifsud (YTC), Peter Paul, Helen, Joe, Manwel, Margaret, Phyllis, Charles, their spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.
The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday at 2pm for St Helen Basilica parish church, Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Żebbuġ. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated.

ABELA – ARMANDO, July 18, 1978. Today the 38th anniversary of his demise. Fondly remembered by his children Mary, Fr Joe Abela, Monica, Therese, Carmel, in-laws and grandchildren. Mass will be celebrated on July 22 at 7am at the Conversion of St Paul church, Cospicua. A prayer is solicited.
