CAUCHI. On July 6, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, MARY, widow of Paul, passed away peacefully in her 100th year, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She is survived by her children Doris and her husband Tony Cesareo, Anna and her husband Joe Busuttil, Nanette and her husband Derek Bradbury, Alfred, Maria and her husband Paul Bugeja, Judy and her husband David Brown, and Bryan and his wife Lucienne, her grandchildren, her in-laws Irene Grech (USA) and Marguerite Cauchi (UK), her nephews and nieces, and other relatives. Funeral Mass will be said tomorrow at 9am at St Julian’s parish church, followed by burial in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Holy Family Home, Naxxar, and the Seminary, Tal-Virtù, Rabat, would be appreciated. May she rest in peace. The family would like to thank the consultant, her grandchildren Simon and Brenda, and the staff at Holy Family Home, Naxxar, and St James Capua Hospital, for their care and dedication.
GAUCI. On July 5, at Villa M. SSma Annunziata, Balzan, Sr LUCIA (Teresa) of the Sisters of Charity, aged 86, passed away peacefully to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity, her brothers France and his wife Connie and Anthony and his wife Shirley, her sisters Marija and Doris Farrugia, Vivie, widow of her brother Leli, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated today at 9am at the chapel of the convent of the Sisters of Charity, 55, Birbal Street, Balzan, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
HILI. On July 6, at Mater Dei Hospital, SALVATORE of Santa Luċija, aged 76, passed away peacefully to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Doris, née Camenzuli, his children Marisa and her husband Salvatore, Tania and her husband Joe, Wilfred and his wife Claire, his grandchildren Antonio, Abigail, Daniela, Kyle, Cristina, Julia and Malcolm and their fiancés, his brothers and sisters, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, July 9 at 8am for Santa Luċija parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Tarxien cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
MOELLER. Suddenly, on July 5, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, CLAUS JUERGEN of Burmarrad, aged 74. He leaves to mourn his loss his partner Mario, his brother Kurt and his nephew Malte and his friends in Malta and Germany. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 4pm for the Immaculate Heart of Mary parish church, Burmarrad, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4.30pm, followed by interment at Ħniena Divina Cemetery, St Paul’s Bay. Donations to Puttinu Cares Children’s Cancer Support Group, Rainbow Ward, Mater Dei Hospital, would be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to the doctors and staff at Oncology Ward and PCU, Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
PIGNATELLI. On July 2, in Rome, ANTONIO, husband of Mila, née Stilon Depiro, passed away peacefully, aged 77. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his wife Mila, his children Gianluca and Elena, Gioberto and Francesca and his beloved grandchildren Ludovico and Leonardo, Zeno and Ettore, relatives and friends.
