BONNICI. On July 3, ALAN PAUL, went to meet the Risen Lord, aged 64. He leaves to mourn his loss his brothers Philip, David and Paul and their respective families, his nieces Melinda, Kelly, Donna and Jodie and their families in Australia, his cousins Paul, Joseph, May, Grace, Brigitte, Maria, Angele, widow of Reno, Gaetan and their families, other relatives and friends, in particular Charles and M’Rose Cachia and his colleagues at work at Ideal Pharmacy, Rabat. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.30am for St Julian’s parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares Children’s Cancer Support Group, Rainbow Ward, Mater Dei Hospital, would be greatly appreciated. Alan’s family would also like to give special thanks to the staff at the Oncology Centre who were so dedicated in their work and made his stay there a very comfortable one. DIMECH. On June 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, VICTORIA, of Attard, aged 55, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Mario, her children Karl and Claire, her siblings Doris, Charles, Miriam, Mary Rose, Joe and Lorraine, widow of Mario, and their respective families, other relatives and friends. GALEA. On July 5, at Pax et Bonum, Mosta, Sr. SKOLASTIKA, OSB, aged 76, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her fellow Benedictine nuns of Mdina, her sister Violet, her brothers Alexander and his wife Silvia and Alfred and his wife Emily, her many nephews and nieces, their respective families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9.15am for St Peter’s monastery, Mdina, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal peace. Mother Abbess Maria Adeodata Testaferrata de Noto, OSB, and the nuns would like to express their special thanks to the sisters and staff of Pax et Bonum for their love, dedication and support.

PISANI. On July 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, LINA, née Naudi, widow of Oscar, of Sliema, aged 91, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Anthony and Helen, Angela Hedley, John and Ke Ning, Madeleine Incorvaja, Diana and Joseph Mifsud, Raymond and Roberta, Theresa and Mark Bonello, and Michael and Diane, her grandchildren Tracy, Sharon, Mark, Neil, Claire, Caroline, Andrew, Stephen, Philip, Robert, Edward, Kevin, Karen, Luca, Francesca, Sabrina, Renee and Kyra, her great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Rita, widow of Alfred Naudi, and Rosa, widow of Gustav Pisani, other relatives and friends. SIMPSON – IAN, second son of Nellie Ullo and Cyril Simpson and brother of Raphael, born Malta 14.02.1933, died on 21.06.2016 after 83 years of enriching and being amused by the pageantry of life. He leaves his children Samantha and Geoffrey and grandson Nicholas.
