ABELA. On June 13, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, JOSEPH of Żejtun, residing at Santa Luċija, aged 89, passed away peacefull comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Jean, his children Tony and his wife Nadine, Vince and his wife Tanya and Marianne and her husband Anthony, his grandchildren Racquele, Katrina, Mikiel, Trevor and Mark, other relatives and numerous friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul residence tomorrow at 8am for Santa Luċija parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at San Girgor Cemetery, Żejtun. CACHIA. On June 13, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANTONIA of Mdina (former teacher at Rabat Primary School), aged 98, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sisters Lucy Mallia and Laura Borg Cardona, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends in Malta, Australia and England, other relatives and numerous friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30pm for St Dominic’s church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Margherita Cemetery, Rabat. FARRUGIA. On June 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, RALPH of Mellieħa, aged 49, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his beloved father Louis, his mother Doris, his sisters Roberta and her husband Henry Holland, Diane Erasmi and her partner Michael Pisani, and Irene and her husband Konrad Borg, his beloved partner Lara Gerada and her family; his nephews and nieces Renée, Kyra, Greta, Timothy, Kristina, Sofia and Michael, his aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Friday, June 17 at 2pm for Maria Bambina parish church, Mellieħa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment at Queen of Victories Cemetery, Mellieħa. SCERRI. On June 15, FRANCES of Santa Luċija, aged 83, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Gloria and Christopher, Albert and Annette, Monica and Robert and Victor and Marthese, her grandchildren Matthew, Petra, Andrea, Martha, Giulia, Iana, Mark, Isaac and Adele, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.45pm for Santa Luċija parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
