ABELA. On June 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANDREW, of Żebbiegħ, aged 20, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his parents Kenneth and Sharon, his sister Roberta and her boyfriend Wayne, his grandparents Alfred and Carmen Abela and Amadeo and Lina Vella, his uncles and aunts Harold, Mariella, Brian, Johane, Claire, Ken, Emerin and Artemia, his cousins Gabi, Daniel, Alex, Jessica, Farren and fiancée Katina, Adam, Luke, Alex, Chris, Jan and baby Nate. DeCESARE. On June 8, MAY of Sliema, aged 87, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Maria Louisa, James and his wife Raymonda, Renald and his wife Carmen, George and his wife Rita, and Bernardette and her husband Charles, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, all other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9am for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. HILL – CHRISTOPHER, lost the fight with his prolonged illness and closed his eyes forever on Saturday, June 4, at 74 years of age. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Marianne, his son Gilbert and his wife Jessica, his daughter Ursula and her husband Gavin, his grandchildren Emily, Dorothea, Fenton and Coralina, his brothers Roger and Brian and Brian’s wife Paula, their respective families, other relatives and friends. The funeral Mass præsente cadavere will take place tomorrow at 3pm at the chapel of Hilltop Gardens Retirement Village, Naxxar, followed by interment at Siġġiewi cemetery. SCERRI. On June 9, at Mater Dei Hospital NAZZARENO of Dingli (of Bobbyland Bar and Restaurant), aged 71, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mary, his children Aynor and her husband Dennis and Muriel, his granddaughter Kassidy, his brothers and sisters Joe, Loreta, Mari, Fr Ġorġ Scerri MSSP, of Peru, Salvinu, Karmenu, Gejtu, Tony, Freddy and Tessie, their spouses, in-laws, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2.30pm for Dingli parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Dingli cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
