CASALETTO. On May 18, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre, GERTIE of Birkirkara, aged 82, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers and sisters, Albert and his wife Elizabeth of Australia, Vincent, Mr John Casaletto, FRCS, widower of Christine, Victor and his wife Josephine, Winnie and her husband Charlie Cauchi, Grace, widow of Spiridione Pace, nephews and nieces, amongst whom Mr John Casaletto, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre on Friday, May 20 at 8am for St Mary’s parish church (knisja l-qadima), Birkirkara where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Tarxien cemetery. MAGGI. On May 16, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY, of Sliema but residing in Attard, aged 87, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Yvonne and her husband Robert Calafato, and Tanya and her husband Victor Galea, her son John and his wife Rosanne, her grandchildren Kurt and his fiancée Sarah, Malcolm and his fiancée Amii, Steve and his fiancée Jasmin, Christopher, Clare, Emma and Kristina, her sister-in-law Joan, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.15am for St Mary’s parish church, Attard, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. MICALLEF. On May 18, HENRIETTA of Sliema, widow of Henry, aged 81, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children, Michel and his wife Loranne, Elvira and her husband Simon Petroni and Joanna and her husband Kenneth Azzopardi, her cherished grandchildren, Jean-Michel, Kim and her boyfriend Aedan, Tamara and her boyfriend Benji, Michael and Tara, her sister-in-law, Rosa Micallef Judge, her brothers in-law, Aldo Micallef, Edwin Micallef, Louis and Gloria Micallef, her nephews and nieces, other relatives and her friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul on Friday, May 20 at 1.30pm for St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery (entrance from back entrance). He leaves to mourn his loss his daughter Pauline, wife of Mario Zammit, his son Manuel, his grandchildren Kimberly and her husband Mathias, Kirby and her boyfriend Axel, Chanelle and Liam, his brothers, sisters and their respective spouses, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere celebrating his life will be said on Friday, May 20 at 2.30pm at St Sebastian parish church, Qormi, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
