AGIUS. On April 21, at his residence in Fgura, JOSEPH, of Senglea, aged 80, ex-S.M. PS827, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Gaetana, his daughters Janet and Marisa, his son Frankie, their respective husbands and wife, his grandchildren Giulia, Luca, Matteo, Andrea and Gianluca, his sisters Ċettina and Carmen and her husband Lino Guillaumier, his brother Michael and his wife Rita, his brothers-in-law Raphael and his wife Nora, Charles and his wife Geraldine and Tony, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8am for Fgura parish church, where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Tal-Erwieħ Cemetery, Tarxien. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
BARTOLO. On April 20 at his residence, CHARLIE of St Paul’s Bay, aged 81, known as Marsa Bookmaker and Honorary President of St Paul’s Band, St Paul’s Bay, went to meet the Risen Lord comforted by rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved Rita, his children Jody, Jason and Rebecca, his nephews and nieces, Rita’s children Jocelyn, Maryrose, their spouses and nephew Craig, his brothers and sisters, Wistin, Paola, Manuel, Maria, Doris and Joe and their families other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday April 26, at 3pm for St Paul’s Street, St Paul’s Bay (church area) where St Paul’s Band of St Paul’s Bay will salute the corpse prior to entrance to Our Lady of Sorrows parish church, St Paul’s Bay, where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4pm followed by interment at the Ħniena Divina Cemetery, St Paul’s Bay. Donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
CAVEN. On April 17, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, ALAN, aged 75, born in Glasgow and formerly of Rodolphe Street, Sliema. The funeral service will be held today at 10am at The Holy Trinity Church in Sliema, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
