ABELA. On March 31, JOHN, of Balzan, at St Vincent De Paul Residence, passed away peacefully, aged 66, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sisters Eileen and her husband Herbert Conrad and Doreen, widow of Joe Bartolo, his brother Anthony and his wife Gertrude, his nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. AQUILINA. On March 31, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, ANITA, aged 38, went to meet the Risen Lord surrounded by her family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her mother Noemi and her father Manuel, her brother Abel Joseph and his girlfriend Brunella, her sister Aloisia and her husband Silvio Camilleri, their children Alice, Stella and Samuel, her grandfather Abel, aunties, uncles, cousins and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 3pm for St Sebastian parish church, Qormi, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Qormi. FALZON. On March 30, at Casa Arkati, Mosta, MARI, née Cefai, of Sliema, aged 98, passed away peacefully in her sleep. She leaves to mourn her great loss her step-children Marlene and her husband Alfred Barthet, Paul, Joseph and Caroline, Tonio and Abigail Falzon, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her niece Daphne and her husband Giovanni Corrieri, her nephews David and his wife Mary, Chris and his wife Angela, and Martin and his wife Teresa, and their children, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Casa Arkati today for the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment. Lord grant her eternal rest.

GALEA. On March 31, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre, VICTOR of Birkirkara, residing at Msida, aged 71, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Carmen, née Camilleri, his beloved sons Noel and Konrad, his brother Anton and his wife Rita, his wife’s brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre tomorrow at 7.30am for St Joseph parish church, Msida, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. On April 1, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre, ANTONIA, née Micallef (lovingly known to all as Ena), a woman of great faith and courage, widow of Lewis, aged 90, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her only daughter Jacqueline, wife of Siegfried Borg Cole, her adored grandchildren Nicola and her husband Giuseppe Scaltrito and Alan, her brother France Micallef and his wife Betty, her sisters Josephine and her husband Frank Rossi, Carmen and her husband Leonard Vella, her sisters-in-law Bernadette Micallef and Aida Micallef, many nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre on Monday, April 4 for Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

SCERRI MONTALDO. On March 26, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, LOUIS (Grand Master of the Sovereign Order of St John of Jerusalem and ex-Honorary Consul of Brazil in Malta), passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his wife Marie-Louise, his daughter Maroushka and her husband Martin Zammit, his son George, his sister Marie-Therese and her husband Joseph Pisani, his brothers-in-law, Ronnie, and George and his wife Madam Justice Lorraine Schembri Orland, and Anneli, the Knights of the Sovereign Order of St John of Jerusalem, nephews and nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence tomorrow at 7.30am for Our Lady of Sorrows parish church, St Paul’s Bay, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
