IZZO. On March 29, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, MARIA AMELIA, née Ascolese, aged 96, of Paola, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Marthese and her husband John Farrugia, Ena and her husband Tony Cauchi, Josepha and her husband Joe Caruana, and Sandra, her sons Anton and his wife Shirley, and Karl and his wife Jane, her 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, her son-in-law George Betts, husband of her late daughter Marion, her sister Pauline Calleja, other relatives and friends. PAVIA. On March 21, in Ireland, VINCE, formerly of Paola, aged 67, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Maria, his daughters Shirley and Jeannette, his sisters and brother, Marion Cutajar, Frida and her husband Joe Demarco, and Anthony and his wife Joyce, his brother-in-law Joe Abela, Effie and his wife Antoinette, Clorinda and her husband Lesley Bent, Lawrence and his wife Georgina and Doris, relatives and friends. On March 26, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, LOUIS (Grand Master of the Sovereign Order of St. John of Jerusalem and former Honorary Consul for Brazil in Malta), passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his wife Marie-Louise, his daughter Maroushka and her husband Martin Zammit, his son George, his sister Marie-Therese and her husband Joseph Pisani, his brothers-in-law, Ronnie, and George and his wife Madam Justice Lorraine Schembri Orland, and Anneli, the Knights of the Sovereign Order of St. John of Jerusalem, nephews and nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. SHAW. On March 27, at his residence in Sliema, ALEXANDER WILLIAM passed away peacefully, aged 75. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Lina nee Ferris, his children Simon and Diane, Norman, Jonathan and Lara, Keith and Josephine, Dave and Lisa, and his beloved grandchildren Debbie, Kurt, Andy, Kate and Sebastian.
