GHIO. With regret we announce the death of LAWRENCE of Fgura, who passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital on March 24, aged 79. He will always be loved and remembered by his wife Doris and his daughter Michelle, his brother John and his sister Ann Gatt, his in-laws Margaret and Paul Camilleri, Paul and Veronica Sultana, Charles, widower of Marlene Demicoli, John and his wife Rosalie Sultana, their respective families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass præsente cadavere will be said on Monday, March 28 at 2pm at Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Fgura, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family would appreciate, if instead of flowers, donations in his name be sent to Puttinu Cares Children’s Cancer Support Group, Rainbow Ward, Mater Dei Hospital. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
ZAMMIT. On March 24, at Mater Dei Hospital, our beloved auntie JEANNE of Iklin, aged 92, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her immense loss her sister in-law Annie, nieces and nephews Carmen, Joe, Nathalie and Ronald, Marcette and Joe, Norman and Rita, Jocelyn and Mario, Annina and Kevin, John and Ruth, her sister-in-law Annie, her devoted carers Jane and Rose, other relatives and many friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday, March 28 at 9.15am for the Holy Family parish church, Iklin, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment at Lija cemetery. Missing Sister
Mrs Laura Thompson, née Ireson, aged 100, born 1915, Wolverhampton, UK, also lived in India before returning to live in Exeter. She is believed to be living in a hotel in Malta.
