SYMES. On March 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, MAY, née Bernard, in her 100th year, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She is deeply mourned by her son John and his wife Sarah, her daughter Tessa, and husband Josef Anastasi, her grandchildren Charlotte, Lucy, Gail, Sarah and Francis and their spouses, her eight great-grandchildren, cousins, nephews, nieces, friends and her devoted long-time carer Angelie. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, March 19 at 8.15am for St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.45am, followed by interment in the family chapel at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the ADHD Family Support Group Malta, BOV A/c No. 16312068012, would be appreciated. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord.
