MICALLEF VALENZIA. On February 10 at Mater Dei Hospital, ANTHONY aged 85, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Wilhelmina, his children Elaine and her husband Alec Sultana, and Sarah and her husband Alexander Cutajar, his grandchildren Kristina and Daniel. His sisters, Vanna, widow of Patrick Mahoney, Cettina widow of Salvinu Fabri, Polly widow of Michael Mamo, and other in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 7.45am for St Augustine Church, Valletta where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. MUSCAT. On February 11, JOSEPH, widower of Yvonne née Overend, passed peacefully away at the vulnerable age of 89, comforted by the rites of the Holy Church and surrounded by all his family. He leaves to mourn his loss, his daughters Marsha and her husband John, Carmelina widow of Neville Bonett, Simone and her husband Carmelo, Marie and her husband Olvin, his grand-children Jonathan and his wife Joselle, Greta and Joanna, Andrew and his wife Sharon, Maria and her husband Keith, Erika and her husband Johann, Elise, Elaine and Nick, his great-granddaughters Nikki, Angela and Elena, his sister Carmelina Pagnelli and Anthony widower of his sister Amelia, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said today at 9am at St Joseph the Worker church, Xemxija followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. SULTANA – JOSEPH GEORGE passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on February 12 at Mater Dei Hospital. Dearly missed and never forgotten by his loving wife Juanita, his children Juanita, Marianna, Catherine and Patrick, Joseph and Rowena, and Andrew and Regina as well as his nine grandchildren and three great-grandsons, all of whom he dearly cherished. A true gentleman and an altruistic individual deeply loved by many. Mass will celebrated at Xemxija church on Monday at 2pm.
VELLA. On February 12, EMANUEL aged 70, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Hilda, daughters Ruth and Rachel, grandchildren Nicole, Jamie and Sophie, son-in-law Jonathan, brothers, sisters, in- laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral Mass will be said today at Santa Luċija parish church at 3pm followed by interment at the Żabbar Cemetery.
