CALAFATO. On February 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, FRANCESCA, aged 89, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her loving husband Carmelo, her daughters Rose, widow of Steve Cummings, and Mary and her husband Ernest Sonne, her son Robert and his wife Yvonne, her granddaughter Kirstin and grandsons Malcolm and his fiancée Amii Spark, and James, her sister Tessie, her brothers Karmenu and Victor and their respective families, her cousins, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8am for St Francis church, Villambrosa Street, St Venera, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

DEBONO. On February 4, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANTONIA (Lina) of Msida, residing at Mosta, widow of Carmel, aged 74, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her daughter Maria, her sister Carmen and her husband Victor, Joseph, widower of her sister Monica, Maria, widow of her brother Godfrey, her in-laws Maria and her husband Sammy, Angela and her husband Leli, Nancy and her husband Frank, George and his wife Salvina, and Salvina and her husband Ġużeppi, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2pm for St Andrew’s Pastoral Centre, Mosta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Qrendi cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
