ABELA. On December 20, at Mater Dei Hospital, VICTOR, of Sliema, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church at the age of 61. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Rita née Pullicino, his mother Julia, his brothers Sebastian and Rennie, his sister Miriam, his sister-in-law Rena and their families, his sister- and brother-in-law Carmen and George Pullicino and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30pm for the Carmelite parish church, Balluta, St Julian’s where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at The Resurrection Cemetery, Qormi. BORG. On December 21, LINA of Naxxar, aged 71, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her mother Marianne, her brothers and sisters Gina, Tony and his wife Lucy, Fr Richard Borg Archpriest of Floriana, Mary Ellul widow of Lino, Esther and her husband Anthony Azzopardi, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3pm for Naxxar parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm followed by interment at Naxxar Cemetery in the family grave. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Carmen and her husband Vince, Joyce and her husband Mario and Alfred, widower of Margaret, her grandchildren Julian, Adrian and his wife Elaine, Laura, Michael and Kenneth, her great-grandchildren, her sisters and brothers, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for St Paul Shipwrecked parish church, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
