CAMILLERI. On December 2, at Mater Dei Hospital, GIUSEPPA of Rabat, aged 99, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Paul and his wife Vicky, residing in Australia, Sam and his wife Marta, Peter and his wife Catherine, Anthony and his wife Darcie, residing in Canada, Charles and his wife Mary, Onorato, widower of her daughter Angela, Żaren and his wife Mary, Mary and her husband Jimmy, Violet and Christine, and Maryrose, widow of her son Joseph, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8am for St Paul’s Collegiate parish church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at San Andrija Cemetery, Żebbuġ. CASSAR. On December 2, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPHINE of Mdina, aged 95, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers, Laurence, widower of Lina, Prassede, Paul and his wife Josephine, and Valerie, widow of her brother Misael, Mary Grace, widow of her brother Guido, nephews and nieces, amongst whom Noel Cassar, great nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30pm for Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Tal-Karmnu) church, Mdina, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. DEGUARA. On December 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, EMANUEL of St Paul’s Bay, aged 70, went the meet the Risen Lord, comforted by rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Marcia, his beloved daughters Natasha, Nadia and Naomi, his seven beautiful grandchildren, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. GAUCI. On Dec­ember 2, at Mater Dei Hos­pital, ANTHONY, known as Ninu ta’ Cenes, of St Paul’s Bay, passed away peacefully at the age of 66. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mary, his sons Frank and his fiancée Debbie Sciberras, and Paul, his daughter Anne Marie and her husband Massimo Bray, his grandson Wayne, his brothers and sisters and their spouses, his sister-in-law and her husband, cousins, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. PACE. On November 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, Mgr. ANTHONY PACE, passed away peacefully, aged 98, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leave to mourn his loss his brother Joseph, his sister Sr Aurelia, Sister of St Dorothy, his nieces and nephews, Antoinette Attard, Anna Dalli, Joseph Cardona, Paula Pace, Mariella Ciappara, Louis and David Pace; Paul, Edward and David Pace, Maryann Smith, their families, other relatives and friends, including the staff and residents at the Holy Family Home, Naxxar; also the members of the Metropolitan Chapter. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.15am for the chapel of the Divine Mercy, San Pawl tat-Tarġa, Naxxar, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9am by Archbishop Mgr Charles Scicluna, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Power cuts

Due to scheduled maintenance works on the electricity grid, there will be power cuts in or in parts of the following areas tomorrow.

Gozo ferry trips on Wednesday mornings

On Wednesday mornings Gozo Channel trips will be every 30 minutes, at 6am, 6.30am, 7am and 7.30am from Mġarr and at 6.30am, 7am and 7.30am from Ċirkewwa, the company said yesterday.

Other trips will be according to the published schedule.

Sub-post office closed

The sub-post office at Midas, 34, the Strand, Marsascala will be closed on Monday, MaltaPost said in a statement yesterday.

Those requiring MaltaPost’s postal services may call at the Żabbar post office at the Civic Centre at Convent, Żabbar or the Żejtun post office at 37, St Lucian Street, Żejtun.
