Charity fun day

Nags Head fifth anniversary charity fun day, Saturday, November 14. €900 raised in aid of Puttinu Cares. Thanks to all who helped and supported throughout the day.

Power cuts

Due to scheduled maintenance works on the electricity grid, there will be power cuts on Monday in, or in parts of, the following areas:

Traffic arrangements

Transport Malta will be resurfacing parts of National Stadium Avenue in Ta’ Qali and the road will be completely closed to traffic until 5am on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, TM alsoannounced the following traffic arrangements for Baħrija where works are being carried out by the Water Services Corporation.

Traffic from Mtarfa bypass and from Saqqajja Hill in Rabat is being diverted onto Ġarġir Street, Saviour Street and Riebu Well Street.

Traffic from Baħrija towards Mtarfa bypass and Saqqajja Hill in Rabat will be diverted onto Lellux Street and Ġarġir Street.

Saviour Street has been turned into a one-way traffic road towards Baħrija and Lellux Street is now a one way road towards Rabat.

Triq il-Qalliet will be open to traffic from Baħrija to Rabat between 6am and 9am on weekdays to ease the morning peak hours.

Following archaeological discoveries in the area, the duration of works may take longer than expected.
