AGIUS. On November 13, at Mater Dei Hospital, ROSEMARIE, aged 85, went to meet the Risen Lord. She leaves to mourn her loss her sister Mai Saunders, her brother Bertie and his wife Phyllis, her in-laws, beloved nephews and nieces and their children whom she loved unconditionally as if they were her own, other relatives and friends. Many thanks to the medical staff at SVDP and MDH. Mass præsente cadavere will be said on Friday, 20th November at 2.30pm at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema. May she rest in peace.
GRUPPETTA. On November 16, at Casa Antonia Rehabilitation Residence, Balzan, KITTY, aged 101 and seven months, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her sisters Stella and Ċettina, her carers Carmen and Louis Pace, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Casa Antonia tomorrow for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. SCIBERRAS. On November 15, at Casa Antonia Rehabilitation Residence, CARMELINA née Vella, aged 97, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her beloved sons Saviour and Victor and his wife Victoria, her daughters Monica and her husband Tano and Marina and her husband Saviour, her grandchildren Kevin, Brian, Karl, Simon, Paul, Bernard, Lisa and Christine, and their spouses, her seven great-grandchildren, her brother Dr Albert Vella MD of Australia, her sister Imelda Micallef, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. VASSALLO. On November 15, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre, JOSEPH of Rabat, aged 86, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Carmelina, his children Dr Nicholas Vassallo, MD, and his wife Brigitte, Joe, Nancy and her husband Paul, Silvana and her husband Gilbert, his grandchildren Jeannine, Benjamin, Carmen, Sarah, Rebecca, Mikela, Kimberley, Brownweleen and Brodey Paul, his great-grandchildren Alex and Lucia, nephews and nieces other relatives and friends. A funeral celebration will take place tomorrow. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre at 1.45pm for St Paul’s parish church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment at Rabat cemetery.
