BUSUTTIL. On January 9, at her residence, MARIA of Floriana, residing in Guardamangia, aged 90, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Miriam, Anna and John and his wife Jacqueline, her grandchildren Daniel and Jeremy, her brother Saverio and his wife Tessie, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves her residence today at 8.45am for Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.15am, followed by interment in the family vault at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CASHA. On January 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, CECILIA of Rabat, residing in Santa Venera, aged 83, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her children Anthony, Charmaine and her husband Frankie, her grandson Luca, her sisters Mary and Pauline, Ann and her husband Michael, Carmelina and her husband Nicholas, nephews, relatives and friends. The funeral takes place today. Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30am at St Mary of Jesus Franciscan church (Ta’ Ġieżù), Rabat, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery. SCICLUNA. On January 9, at his residence, FRANCIS of Gudja, aged 81, peacefully went to meet the Risen Lord. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Maria Antonia, his sons Godfrey and his wife Isabelle and Mario and his wife Angele, his daughter Elizabeth, his grandchildren Fabio and Martina, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2.30pm for Gudja parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 3pm. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

A service of thanksgiving for the life of SARAH PIENAAR will be held tomorrow at 11.45am at St Andrew’s Scots church, South Street, Valletta. Donations, in lieu of flowers, to be made to the church for the benefit of Dar Tereża Spinelli.
