ATTARD. On August 10, at Mater Dei Hospital, IGNATIUS known as Ino, of Victoria, Gozo, aged 58, passed away suddenly comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his wife Mary Grace, children Rebekah, Isaac and Jakob, his mother Maria, his brother Noel and his wife Sylvana, his sister Pauline and her husband Manuel, and their respective children, his in-laws and their respective families and other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Gozo General Hospital tomorrow at 4.20pm, followed by prayers and Mass præsente cadavere at 5pm at St George’s Basilica, Victoria, Gozo, followed by interment at St Mary’s Cemetery, Xewkija. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
AZZOPARDI. On August 8, ANTIDA, widow of Joseph, aged 84, passed away suddenly and peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Albert, Pierre and his wife Melissa, Moira, Eric and his wife Margaret, her grandchildren Stephanie, Kathryn, Clare and Isabel, her brother Roger and his wife Dorothy, nephews, nieces and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8.30am for St Augustine’s parish church, Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery (entrance through upper gate). No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. The family regret that they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
