CINI. On July 26, at Villa Messina, Rabat, FILIPPA, aged 86, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Carmelo and her children Fr Joe from the community of Salesians, Philip and his wife Pauline, Mary Ann and her husband Dr Anthony Abela Medici, Doris, widow of Leo Borg, Paula and her husband Patrick Pace, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Anthony Muscat, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Villa Messina, Rabat, tomorrow at 3pm for Żebbuġ parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. LAZAR – MARIE ANTOINETTE, née Cremona, May 13, 1923-July 17, 2014, in Watford. LOCHTENBERG. On June 14, in Sydney, FIONA, née Borda, aged 55, comforted by the rites of Holy Church, after a long illness. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Mark, her son and daughter Jan and Jessica, her daughter Faye, husband Johno Purdon and grandson Jasper, her mother Gladys and her husband Joe Debono, her father Frank and his wife Pauline, her sisters Sabrina, Michaela, Bettina and her husband Jeremy Kirk, her brothers Mark and Paul, her in-laws Margaret and Ben, her aunt Gloria and her husband Frank Mizzi, her aunt Monique and her husband Stephen James, her brothers and sisters-in-law Jan and Carrie, Anna and Nick Williams, Michael and Jennifer, Maggie and Mark Burgess, Benedict and Jeannie, Lucy and Det Papenfuss, her nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. A memorial Mass will be celebrated tomorrow at 9am at St Patrick’s church, Sliema, and in accordance with her wishes her ashes will be scattered 12 miles north of Malta. POLLACCO. On July 24, at Mater Dei Hospital, ADELINA of St Venera, aged 83, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Paul J., her son Christopher and his wife Mary, her grandchildren Daphne Anne and Gianluca, her sisters Carmen and Sylvia, her nephew Robert and his wife Mariosa, other relatives and friends. XUEREB. On July 18, in Doha, Qatar, JOSEPH, aged 37, passed away peacefully. He will be sadly missed by his wife Ioana, née Gheorghiu, his parents Anthony and Antonia, his sister Margaret, his brother James and his wife Sharon, his nephews Julian and Daniel, his father-in-law Ioan, uncles, aunts and their families, relatives, friends and his pilot colleagues. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday for St Mary’s parish church, Mosta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Mosta cemetery.
