SANT. On May 19, at Mater Dei Hospital, IVAN, aged 64, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Patricia, née Gatt, his son Matthew, his mother Mary, his sisters Liliana, wife of Anthony Lepre, Louise, wife of Donald Cini, his brother-in-law Albert Gatt, husband of Mary Ann, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. SCIBERRAS. On May 19, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, MARLENE, née Grima, aged 70, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Her loss is deeply mourned by her husband Arthur, children Sharon and Sean together with his wife Raffaella and beloved grandchildren Carolina, Daniela and Matteo, her sister Rose and her husband Richard Lapira, her brother Joseph R. and his wife Josephine, Louis and Judith, Eman, Victor and his wife Tessie, the widower of her husband’s sister, President Emeritus Dr Edward Fenech Adami, the widow of her husband’s brother Mary Sciberras, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30pm for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass will be celebrated at 2pm, followed by interment at Lija cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest. The family would like to thank the staff at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital for their care, dedication and support.
